The purchaser, FruitVita Srl of Italy, is a leading mid-to-high-end natural fruit and vegetable beverage enterprise in Southern Europe. Its products are sold in high-end organic Coop supermarkets across Italy, Swiss health supermarket chains and premium beverage specialty stores in Austria. The company operates three core product lines: NFC not-from-concentrate fruit and vegetable puree, low-acid organic sparkling drinks, and natural fruit drop supplements for children. All products comply with multiple access standards including FCC, USP, EU EFSA additive specifications, EU Organic Regulation 2018/848, Kosher certification and BRC Grade A food safety standards. The enterprise previously imported food-grade L-malic acid from Spain year-round. The client’s self-developed formulas were incompatible with standard domestic DL-malic acid and conventional L-malic acid available on the market, requiring three differentiated non-standard customized indicators. Four rounds of sample delivery all failed, resulting in problems such as browning of finished fruit juice, crystal precipitation of beverages under low temperature, and astringent taste of children’s drops. High raw material scrap costs were incurred during mass production trials, putting the new product launch plan on hold. After failing to find manufacturers willing to conduct technical rectification, the client formally entrusted HiSiaddi Foreign Trade to fully coordinate customized R&D of raw materials, production line renovation, pilot mass production and full-chain compliance support delivery.
1. Configuration & impurity customization: Only natural L-malic acid produced via microbial fermentation is allowed; chemically synthesized DL-type is prohibited. Optical purity of L-malic acid ≥99.8%, fumaric acid residue ≤0.02%, maleic acid not detected. Heavy metals including lead, arsenic and cadmium are controlled within 50% of FCC standard limits to meet clean label requirements for infant and toddler products. Standard commercial products generally contain 0.1%–0.3% fumaric acid, failing to meet low-temperature stability requirements for beverages.

3. Customized raw material traceability & packaging: Raw materials limited to non-GMO corn sugar for fermentation, with full-chain raw material traceability archives retained. Conventional 25kg kraft plastic composite bags are replaced with customized food-grade aluminum foil vacuum inner bags to isolate air and prevent moisture oxidation, adapting to high-temperature storage environments in southern Italy.

Issue bilingual English-Italian COA quality inspection certificates in accordance with FCC and EU standards, accompanied by third-party CNAS test reports, SDS safety data sheets, batch-specific Kosher sub-certificates and organic compliance statements to facilitate customs clearance in Italy and local product filing.
