With 26 years of experience serving high-end European medical aesthetics, oral care and oral dietary supplement sectors, its products are sold at Galeries Lafayette Paris beauty counters, premium European pharmacy chain PHARMA PLUS and Swiss medical aesthetic clinics. Its product lines cover medical mouthwash, repairing ointments and oral detox capsules. Raw materials comply with multiple standards including EU E141 (ii), EFSA, REACH, USP and French AFNOR. End customers are high-net-worth Europeans and medical aesthetic channel clients. The group has an annual regular demand of 18 tons of sodium copper chlorophyllin.
The client previously sourced sodium copper chlorophyllin exclusively from Merck Germany. 1. Physicochemical Customization: Absorbance E1% (405nm) ≥620 (conventional national standard products only reach 568); extinction ratio strictly controlled within a narrow range of 3.3~3.6; free copper ≤3ppm (national standard ≤25ppm); total copper precisely locked between 5.2%~5.6%; heavy metals strictly controlled: lead <2ppm, arsenic <1ppm.
2. Powder Customization: 200-mesh ultrafine powder with no flocculent precipitation after water dissolution; pH value of 1% aqueous solution controlled at 9.2~9.6 (national standard range 9.0~10.7). Adapted to the client’s fully automatic liquid batching production line and softgel filling without screen blockage.

Mass production-oriented factory mindset refusing technical transformation for small-batch non-standard orders: Domestic regular manufacturers mass-produce standard national standard sodium copper chlorophyllin with fixed saponification, copper substitution and refining processes. Adjusting parameters requires changes to feed ratios and rectification sections. Factories reject fine-tuning production for narrow indicator ranges due to increased production costs and only push standard off-the-shelf products.
2. Uncustomizable raw material sourcing: Conventional products use low-cost bulk spinach and alfalfa as raw materials. The client specified organic certified Sichuan mulberry leaves / silkworm excrement for extraction (lower pesticide residues and stronger pigment stability), yet most factories maintain fixed supply chains of cheap bulk raw materials without organic raw material resources.
3. Lack of supporting compliance documents: Factories only provide Chinese national standard test reports and lack expertise in French import consular authentication, REACH registration and EFSA raw material filing documentation, failing to meet cosmeceutical market approval requirements.
HiSiaddi screened 3 leading domestic manufacturers with flexible technical transformation capacity (Sichuan Tongshida Biotech, Xi’an Lvquan Biotech, Changsha Shanghe Biotech), and ultimately selected Sichuan Tongshida Biotech, a national chlorophyll leader with a complete silkworm mulberry leaf/silkworm excrement industrial chain capable of flexible production adjustments. We collaborated with the factory’s R&D department to split technical transformation nodes for customization:
· Raw Material End: Source mulberry leaves and silkworm excrement exclusively from organic silkworm mulberry bases in Leshan, Sichuan, and provide organic planting traceability documents to control pesticide residues at the source.
· Process End: Optimize gradient saponification temperatures, segmented pH control for copper substitution reactions and three-stage molecular rectification purification to reduce free copper precipitation, lowering free copper levels from the conventional 20ppm to ≤2.8ppm. Fine-tune drying and crushing processes to produce targeted 200-mesh ultrafine powder.
1. Initial Sample: Preliminary technical transformation per client indicators; color value 602, free copper 4.2ppm (both failed to meet standards).
2. Second Revised Sample: Adjust elution solvent ratio in refining section; color value raised to 626, free copper 3.1ppm, extinction ratio 3.62 (only the extinction ratio slightly exceeded the limit).
3. Final Sample: Fine-tune copper ion feed ratio; all indicators fully compliant: E405=632, extinction ratio 3.45, free copper 2.7ppm, total copper 5.41%. All parameters fell within the client’s customized range, and full-item SGS testing passed EU limit standards.
Coordinate the factory to switch subpackaging to a sterile production workshop, adopting food-grade inner vacuum aluminum foil sealing + outer dedicated HDPE drums. Drums are printed with bilingual French-English labels detailing raw material origin, batch number, shelf life and E number E141 (ii), complying with French import commodity label regulations.

1. First customized mass production batch of 8 tons shipped in two consignments from Shanghai Port to Le Havre Port. Customs clearance proceeded smoothly without detention upon presentation of full customized compliance documents.
