Allergenic impurity excess triggering consumer skin allergies, inconsistent foaming and viscosity across batches, formulation compatibility failure in sulfate-free systems, discoloration and off-odor generation during long-term storage
1. Excess DMAPA and amide amine residues exceeding EU cosmetic thresholds, causing redness and itching on sensitive skin after formulation addition and rising brand complaint rates. Root cause: Incomplete synthetic reactions lacking deep deamination refining.
2. Wide fluctuations in active matter content leading to inconsistent foam volume and product thickness across finished batches, destabilizing end-user experience. Root cause: Loose process controls for raw material feeding and concentration steps.
3. Elevated inorganic salt and acid residues triggering foam collapse and viscosity loss when blended with amino acid surfactants, rendering materials unfit for sulfate-free formulations. Root cause: Insufficient removal of salt by-products disrupting interfacial equilibrium.
4. Oxidizable impurities in raw materials causing deepened color and rancid oil odors after 3–6 months of storage, resulting in high scrap rates for transparent hair and body care products. Root cause: Absence of antioxidant and decolorization refining procedures.
1. Dual vacuum deamination + water washing purification processes limit DMAPA to ≤25ppm, drastically reducing free amine and amide amine levels to eliminate allergenic risks.
2. Fixed standardized production processes narrow active matter fluctuations to ±0.5%, ensuring consistent foaming, foam stabilization and thickening performance across all batches.
3. Multi-stage desalination reduces acidic residues and optimizes formulation compatibility, maintaining stable foam and viscosity in sulfate-free and amino acid-based surfactant systems.
4. Removal of unsaturated oxidizable impurities combined with compliant antioxidant additives preserves transparent color and eliminates off-odors over extended shelf life.
Irritant impurities failing infant-grade standards, non-compliant nitrosamine residues, pH fluctuations disrupting formulation balance, low-temperature turbidity during cold-chain transportation
1. Excess free fatty acid and free amine residues creating high irritation potential, triggering dryness and redness on infant skin and disqualifying products from EU/US infant care testing. Root cause: Conventional industrial-grade refining without ultra-mild purification workflows.
2. Nitrosamine and precursor residues violating mandatory infant care regulations in Europe and North America, risking cargo detention and return upon customs inspection. Root cause: Lack of specialized nitrosamine removal processing.
3. Wide raw material pH fluctuations disrupting the 5.5–6.0 weak acid formulation pH required for infant products, resulting in dry, irritating skin feel. Root cause: Imprecise neutralization process control with unstable free acid/alkali residuals.
4. Trace insoluble colloids precipitate at 5–10°C during cold-chain shipping, reducing finished product transparency and causing turbidity defects. Root cause: Absence of low-temperature precision filtration.
1. Multi-stage water washing + molecular sieving technology deeply removes all irritant impurities to meet ultra-mild infant care standards.
2. Specialized decomposition and removal of nitrosamine precursors delivers non-detectable nitrosamine levels; batch-specific compliance test reports are provided to satisfy overseas regulatory requirements.
3. Precise neutralization parameter control stabilizes raw material pH at 6.8–7.2, preserving the weak acid formulation pH required for gentle infant skin care without disrupting finished product balance.
4. 0.22μm low-temperature precision filtration eliminates insoluble impurities, maintaining full liquid clarity after prolonged storage at 5°C.
Excess salt causing long-term formulation viscosity thinning, off-odor generation under high-temperature storage, inconsistent emulsification and detergency across batches, premature foam collapse during automatic machine washing
1. High residual sodium chloride erodes formulation thickening systems over storage, leading to sustained viscosity decline and elevated defective product rates. Root cause: Omission of desalination post-processing for salt by-products.
2. Low-boiling oil impurities volatilize at 40–50°C during high-temperature warehousing, releasing rancid oil odors that mask finished product fragrances. Root cause: Failure to distill and remove volatile malodorous impurities.
3. Unstable active ingredient concentrations create inconsistent emulsification and detergency across batches, increasing failed product acceptance rates. Root cause: Insufficient precision in active matter concentration workflows.
4. Imbalanced component ratios trigger rapid foam dissipation during automatic machine washing, lowering cleaning efficiency due to unstable interfacial tension disrupted by impurities. Root cause: Uncontrolled minor impurity levels interfering with foam retention performance.
1. Multi-stage dialysis desalination tightly restricts residual salt levels, eliminating viscosity thinning and stratification during long-term finished product storage.
2. Distillation removes low-boiling volatile impurities to prevent malodor release under high-temperature storage without interfering with formulation fragrance profiles.
3. Stabilized active matter indicators deliver consistent emulsification, penetration and detergency across all batches to meet mass production acceptance criteria.
4. Optimized interfacial tension and component ratios deliver uniform long-lasting foam compatible with automatic washing equipment to boost cleaning efficiency.
Formulation instability under extreme high/low temperatures, inadequate heavy oil emulsification and dispersion, rapid demulsification in extreme acid/alkali environments, irregular excessive foaming from impurity interference
1. Narrow temperature tolerance window with solidification/turbidity below -5°C and stratification/demulsification above 50°C, unsuitable for outdoor and high-temperature production line operating conditions. Root cause: Absence of molecular modification for wide-temperature stability.
2. Insufficient penetration and emulsification capacity for industrial heavy oil and textile grease leading to floating oil and formulation stratification. Root cause: Unoptimized surface tension for industrial degreasing scenarios.
3. Rapid deactivation and demulsification within pH 3–11 extreme acid/alkali environments, rendering auxiliary functionality ineffective. Root cause: Weak amphoteric ion structural stability limiting acid-alkali resistance.
4. Impurity-induced interfacial balance disruption causing random excessive foaming on production lines, raising defoamer costs and disrupting standard manufacturing workflows. Root cause: Loose control over mixed minor impurities.
1. Temperature-resistant molecular modification maintains stable liquid state from -5°C to 50°C with no solidification or stratification.
2. Optimized surface tension enhances penetration and emulsification capacity to fully disperse industrial heavy oil without floating oil or phase separation.
3. Improved acid-alkali tolerance preserves full functional performance without demulsification or deactivation across pH 3–11.
4. Precision removal of interfering impurities delivers controllable foaming behavior, eliminating abnormal over-foaming and supporting automated industrial production lines.
Falsified low-active diluted stock, inconsistent color across batches, incomplete compliance documentation delaying customs clearance, microbial spoilage during transoceanic shipping
1. Low-cost diluted counterfeit goods with significant gaps between nominal and tested active matter content, leading to underperforming foaming and detergency for downstream clients and commercial claim liabilities. Root cause: Unregulated low-price market competition lacking mandatory third-party testing oversight.
2. Visible color discrepancies across batches creating inconsistent appearance post-blending and repackaging, disqualifying stock for premium private-label applications. Root cause: Unstandardized oxidation and impurity control across production runs.
3. Missing REACH, nitrosamine and DMAPA screening reports and compliance statements triggering customs detention during EU/US inspections. Root cause: Failure to supply full chemical regulatory documentation packages.
4. Aqueous CAPB formulations develop turbidity and malodor from microbial proliferation under high-temperature, high-humidity transoceanic shipping conditions. Root cause: Absence of compliant biostatic additives and inadequate packaging sealing.
1. Third-party batch test reports verify genuine active matter concentrations with zero dilution or adulteration; independent re-inspection by buyers is fully supported.
2. Standardized decolorization and antioxidant processes maintain consistent color across all production batches for seamless repackaging and private-label operations.
3. Complete REACH, CosIng and hazardous substance screening reports plus compliance statements accompany every shipment to guarantee smooth customs clearance across European and American markets.
4. Compliant biostatic additives paired with thickened hermetic packaging suppress microbial growth during transoceanic shipping to prevent turbidity and malodor deterioration.

Raw material challenge: Conventional commercial CAPB generally adopts industrial crude coconut fatty acid. Replacing it with edible-grade coconut oil changes the amidation reaction rate, which easily causes product delamination and turbidity at low temperatures under existing production processes.
Quality control challenge: The limits for free amine and nitrosamine are far stricter than those for standard domestic products, requiring an additional precision rectification post-treatment process. Besides, the factory’s original testing equipment was not equipped with an HPLC module for trace impurity detection.
Fulfillment challenge: The client had no experience in importing chemical raw materials from China. HiSiaddi needed to take charge of overall coordination for UN dangerous goods packaging certification, SIRIM testing documents, batch delivery and customs clearance documents for the destination port.
Joint R&D and customization: HiSiaddi collaborated with the manufacturer’s R&D team to adjust the molar ratio of raw materials. The feeding ratio of coconut fatty acid to propylenediamine was optimized from the conventional 1:1.05 to 1:1.12. A segmented temperature control process was adopted for amidation (heat preservation at 125℃ for 4 hours, followed by low-temperature quaternization). Two additional refining procedures including activated carbon adsorption and negative pressure rectification were added. After 3 rounds of lab trials and 2 rounds of pilot tests, the 50kg trial product fully met all standards.
Supporting hardware deployment: We arranged HPLC testing equipment to be stationed at the manufacturer’s workshop temporarily. Each batch of products was delivered with an official SGS test report. Food-contact grade packaging materials were customized, and relevant UN dangerous goods packaging certificates and commodity inspection documents were completed.
Overall delivery coordination: The order was split for phased delivery. First, 50kg samples were sent by air for SIRIM certification testing. After obtaining the certification, two 10-ton containers were shipped by sea successively. We prepared documents for raw material access of Malaysian customs and certificates of origin in advance, and tracked shipping schedules and destination port customs clearance throughout the whole process.
Raw material issues: The carbon chain distribution of fatty acids in the supplied conventional CAPB was irregular. The content of short-chain C8-C10 fatty acids reached 13.2%, far exceeding the standard of ≤7% for qualified products. Excess short-chain surfactants lead to poor foam stability and low resistance to low temperature when compounded with AES. In addition, the residual chloroacetic acid exceeded the standard by 0.12%, which gradually damaged the thickening system during long-term storage and caused viscosity decline.
Formula defects: The client did not adjust auxiliary agents according to the actual carbon chain distribution of CAPB. The fixed dosage of sodium chloride thickener (1.2%) was incompatible with CAPB containing excessive short-chain components, as such CAPB has poor salt tolerance. Moreover, DEA reacted with trace residual amines in CAPB and further destroyed the foam structure.
Production process problems: The batching temperature in the client’s workshop was kept at 28℃, higher than the optimal compounding temperature range of 22~24℃ for CAPB. Excessively high stirring speed also damaged the micelle structure of the system.
Raw material adjustment: For subsequent replenishment orders, we coordinated the manufacturer to adjust the raw material ratio. The proportion of long-chain C12-C14 coconut fatty acids was increased to 89%, and short-chain C8-C10 fatty acids were reduced to 6.5%. The holding time of quaternization was extended to lower the residual chloroacetic acid to below 0.03%.
Formula optimization: Two practical formulas were provided.
Optimization Plan 1 (for existing raw materials): Reduce the CAPB dosage from 5% to 3.8%, replace part of DEA with 0.3% Cocamide MEA, cut the dosage of sodium chloride to 0.75%, and add 0.15% betaine-type foam booster.
Optimization Plan 2 (for customized raw materials in the future): Maintain the CAPB dosage at 5%, and simplify the auxiliary agent system by removing part of inorganic salt thickeners.
On-site production guidance: Professional technicians were dispatched to the client’s factory in Spain to standardize the feeding sequence (dissolve AES first, then add CAPB slowly at low temperature). The stirring speed was lowered from 1200r/min to 750r/min, and the batching temperature was fixed at 23℃.

Each product is assigned 2 to 3 freight forwarders with hazardous chemical/food transport qualifications affiliated with different shipping lines. Alternative sailing schedules can be switched to immediately in case of space shortages or customs inspections on a single shipping route.
(2) Backup transportation solutions for CAB/CAPB
Ocean freight serves as the standard mode; air freight and rail freight are reserved as alternatives for urgent orders. Long-term agreements for temperature-controlled containers are signed for temperature-sensitive and perishable food additives to secure shipping space.
(3) Visual tracking and digital early warning for CAB/CAPB
Freight forwarders synchronize daily updates on container loading, customs declaration, vessel loading and port arrival milestones. If customs inspection occurs, replenishment from backup inventory will be initiated immediately to shorten client waiting periods.
Full-chain digital early warning automatically monitors four categories of risks:
Factory side: Expiring supplier environmental assessment certificates, renewal of production permits, scheduled major equipment overhauls, and notifications of price hikes for upstream raw materials;
Inventory side: Inventory falling below safety thresholds, excessive inventory age, and batches failing quality inspection;
Logistics side: Shipping line space shortages, strikes at destination ports, and updates to customs policies;
Overseas side: Revisions to additive regulations and adjustments to import restriction lists in target countries.
Early warning notifications are automatically pushed to procurement and business leads, allowing backup suppliers or inventory contingency plans to be activated in advance.

If you require more professional and in-depth analysis on CAB/CAPB sourcing, please contact HiSiaddi customer service.
CAPB is mostly supplied as an aqueous solution with multiple specifications classified by active matter content. Its production process and raw material sources directly determine product purity, free amine content, sodium chloride concentration, irritation potential and compatibility performance. As a general fine chemical, CAPB is subject to varying regulatory controls for daily chemical, industrial and environmental protection across different regions. Cross-border transportation follows rules for general liquid chemicals. Buyers must not only compare unit prices and basic active content, but also conduct comprehensive evaluations across six dimensions: compliance qualification, raw material & production process, grade & specification selection, commercial cost, packaging & storage/transportation, and technical after-sales service.
CAPB is widely used in personal care, daily cleaning, industrial additives, textiles and other sectors, with vastly different standards worldwide for cosmetic raw materials, industrial chemicals, biodegradability and environmental emissions. Complete compliance documents form the foundation for cross-border customs clearance and legal application. First, match special qualifications and test reports based on end-use applications.
· For personal care products including shampoo, body wash, facial cleansers and hair care items exported to the EU: Comply with REACH regulation, complete SVHC screening for substances of very high concern, and provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), irritation test reports and microbial test reports. Products must also meet EU cosmetic ingredient specifications with limits on free amines, residual oils and heavy metals.
· For North American markets: Meet FDA cosmetic ingredient requirements and provide ingredient compliance statements.
· For Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia: Strict controls apply to microbial content, heavy metals and hazardous residues; third-party authoritative test reports are mandatory.
· For household dishwashing detergent raw materials: Conform to food-contact grade and domestic cleaning safety standards of target countries.
· For industrial cleaning, textile auxiliary and oilfield additive applications: Follow local industrial chemical management codes and wastewater biodegradation standards, with test data on biodegradability and corrosiveness required.
Second, prepare universal cross-border customs clearance and transportation documents. Conventional aqueous CAPB is non-flammable and non-explosive, classified as a general liquid chemical. Suppliers must provide multilingual Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical classification identification reports – mandatory documents for global sea, air and land transport as well as customs inspections. Standard customs clearance paperwork includes certificates of origin, batch Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and production traceability documents. For regions with strict environmental requirements such as the EU and Australia, additional biodegradability test reports and screening documents for heavy metals and residual monomers are required.
Finally, prioritize suppliers with long-term export experience in target markets, and verify the accreditation of testing institutions to ensure traceable test data. Avoid cargo detention at customs or end-product removal from shelves caused by excessive indicator levels or missing documentation.
CAPB’s quality, irritation potential, salt content and by-product levels are fundamentally determined by upstream coconut oil feedstocks, synthetic processes and refining procedures – the key differentiators between high-end cosmetic grade, general cleaning grade and industrial grade products.
1.
Verify upstream raw material sources Premium CAPB uses natural coconut oil or coconut fatty acid as starting materials. Compared with synthetic oil feedstocks, it features a milder odor, lower irritation and lighter color. Low-end products manufactured from recycled waste oils or mixed oils emit pungent odors, contain excessive free impurities and deliver higher skin irritation, making them unsuitable for premium personal care formulations. When sourcing, confirm raw material grades: food/cosmetic-grade natural coconut oil feedstocks are mandatory for high-end hair and body care products; request raw material traceability documents and oil acid value test records as needed.
2.
3.
Confirm synthesis and refining processes The mainstream industrial synthesis route involves quaternization of cocamidopropyl dimethylamine with sodium chloroacetate. Standard processes without deep desalination and by-product removal yield high levels of sodium chloride, free amines and unreacted monomers. High-end cosmetic-grade CAPB undergoes additional vacuum desalination, water washing refining and low-temperature decolorization procedures to drastically reduce salt, free amine and residual monomer content, delivering low irritation, low viscosity and superior formulation compatibility. Distinguish crude unrefined products from refined cosmetic-grade materials in purchasing contracts to prevent misrepresentation of crude goods as premium cosmetic-grade stock. Formal production lines adopt closed reaction kettles and automated batching systems with precise temperature and pH control throughout the reaction to guarantee batch consistency. Workshops implement zoned management to eliminate cross-contamination risks.
4.
5.
Evaluate quality control, production capacity and inventory capacity CAPB is a continuously mass-produced fine chemical with abundant production capacity among major Chinese manufacturers, enabling stable year-round supply regardless of seasonal fluctuations. Request consecutive batches of CoA reports and liquid chromatography test spectra, focusing on fluctuation ranges of key indicators including active matter content, free amine, sodium chloride, pH and color to assess the rigor of the supplier’s quality control system. For long-term framework agreements, lock fixed raw material sources and production processes to ensure consistent performance across batches. Prioritize manufacturers with complete self-owned production lines; trading companies may mix high and low-grade stock, compromising end-product performance. Also request storage stability data under ambient, high/low temperature and cyclic temperature conditions to predict property changes during long-distance ocean shipping and varied warehousing environments.
6.
CAPB is categorized by active matter content, refining depth, salt concentration and intended use. Different specifications feature drastically varying viscosity, foaming capacity and formulation compatibility; incorrect selection directly causes poor foaming, formulation separation and equipment scaling.
1. Differentiate mainstream active matter specifications Common commercial grades:
· 30% active matter: The industry mainstream standard, featuring moderate viscosity and good fluidity for easy feeding, compatible with nearly all cosmetic and cleaning production lines.
· 35% active matter: High-concentration grade that cuts transportation and warehousing costs for large-batch compounding, yet exhibits elevated viscosity and poor low-temperature fluidity – production line pumping capacity must be assessed in advance. Custom 40% active matter grades are available upon request. Clearly specify nominal active matter content and allowable fluctuation ranges in purchase orders.
1. Classify product grades and applicable scenarios
· Premium refined cosmetic grade: Deeply desalinated, ultra-low free amine, minimal irritation, pale color and mild odor. Exclusively used for infant care, premium facial cleansers and hair care formulations.
· General cosmetic & cleaning grade: Salt and free amine levels within standard cosmetic limits with cost-effective pricing, suitable for ordinary shampoo, body wash and household cleaners.
· Industrial grade: Simplified refining procedures with elevated salt and free amine content, only for industrial cleaning, textile leveling agents, oilfield additives and other applications with no irritation requirements.
Grades cannot be interchanged; clearly define product grades and critical limit indicators in contracts.
1. Distinguish physical properties and packaging specifications Qualified CAPB appears as a colorless to pale yellow transparent viscous liquid with no stratification, suspended solids or offensive odor. Standard export bulk packaging includes 200kg sealed plastic drums and 1000kg IBC totes; 25kg plastic drums are used for small trial orders and samples. Custom low-viscosity, low-odor and ultra-low-salt formulations are available upon consultation, with confirmed minimum order quantities and production lead times. Mandatory pre-production sample testing includes formulation compatibility, foaming performance and low-temperature stability trials.
CAPB is a high-volume liquid raw material with low unit pricing yet large cargo volume; packaging, loading/unloading, port surcharges and logistics account for a substantial share of total expenditure. Cost evaluation cannot rely solely on ex-factory unit prices – comprehensive calculations must incorporate trade terms.
1. Clarify quotation terms Two mainstream pricing models:
· FOB Chinese Port: Includes product cost, domestic short-distance transportation and standard packaging fees. International shipping, insurance and destination port clearance are the buyer’s responsibility. Ideal for large-scale cosmetic and chemical groups with established liquid chemical freight forwarders, delivering optimal overall costs for long-term bulk procurement.
· CIF Destination Port: Covers ocean freight, insurance and port handling fees, with the supplier managing full logistics. Simplified operation for first-time buyers, small-batch orders and cross-border distributors.
Inquire about volume tiered pricing and annual framework contract discounts to hedge price volatility of upstream oil and chemical feedstocks.
1.
Negotiate payment terms, delivery lead times and quality dispute clauses International trade commonly adopts T/T remittance or irrevocable Letter of Credit payment; define advance and balance payment schedules based on cargo volume and cooperation trust levels. Standard specifications are readily stocked with short lead times, while custom formulations require reserved production cycles. Contracts must outline quality dispute resolution protocols for non-compliant shipments (inconsistent active matter, excessive free amine/salt, turbidity, foul odor, misrepresented grade), including re-inspection, return, replacement and replenishment procedures. Also specify allowable normal liquid cargo storage loss ratios and acceptable color fluctuation ranges to clarify liability between parties.
2.
3.
Confirm minimum order quantities and warehousing agreements Factory bulk shipments are generally palletized full drums or full IBC totes, while distributors offer flexible smaller order sizes. CAPB requires ambient storage – low temperatures thicken the product and high temperatures accelerate minor component degradation. Negotiate complimentary domestic warehousing durations to avoid prolonged outdoor or cold port storage.
4.
CAPB is a water-soluble viscous liquid with no fire or explosion hazards, yet its viscosity rises sharply in cold conditions and minor odor generation occurs under high temperatures. Leakage and cold solidification represent the primary logistics risks, with sealing, temperature control and leak prevention as core storage/transport priorities.
1.
Adopt dedicated hermetic packaging for liquid chemicals 200kg drums use thickened new cosmetic/food-grade plastic vessels with double internal/external lids and anti-leak gaskets at drum openings, with reinforced barrel frames to resist extrusion. IBC totes feature sturdy frames and fully sealed inner liners; all packaging undergoes leak testing prior to factory dispatch. Outer packaging displays liquid chemical handling labels and storage instructions: store at ambient temperature, avoid cold solidification and keep away from high heat.
2.
3.
Optimize transportation modes and storage environments Large-volume shipments prioritize ocean transport in standard sealed containers maintained at ambient temperature. Temperature-controlled containers are recommended for winter intercontinental and high-latitude shipping routes to prevent cold thickening and pipeline blockage. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight exposure for summer ocean shipments. Air freight serves urgent small orders and samples, complying with standard liquid air cargo regulations. Minimize transshipment stops, as repeated loading/unloading risks barrel damage and seal failure leading to leakage. Cargo insurance covering leakage and physical damage is recommended for bulk shipments.
4.
5.
Clarify storage/transport liability and handling guidance Suppliers bear packaging and ambient warehousing responsibilities prior to port departure; buyers must transfer goods to indoor temperature-controlled warehouses promptly upon arrival. Operators should note that cold thickening is a reversible physical state – restore fluidity via slow temperature elevation, never direct open-flame heating. Fully seal drum lids immediately after material extraction to prevent external impurity contamination.
6.
As a core compatible amphoteric surfactant, CAPB’s dosage ratio and compatibility with other surfactants directly impact foaming, viscosity and system stability. Professional technical support drastically reduces formulation debugging challenges.
1. Pre-order application technical support Suppliers provide samples and complete technical manuals detailing recommended dosing ratios for different active content and low-salt CAPB grades, compatible formulation systems, and targeted solutions for common issues including foam regulation, viscosity adjustment, low-temperature stratification and irritation control. Documentation also covers regulatory compliance and microbial control guidelines.
2. Post-delivery re-inspection coordination Agree on standardized sampling protocols for buyers to self-test active matter, pH and salt content or commission full third-party testing. Streamlined resolution processes apply for shipments failing contractual property and indicator specifications.
3. Documentation assistance and regulatory interpretation Multilingual SDS, translated test reports and compliance statements are available on demand to support local chemical registration and cosmetic raw material audits. Targeted compliance recommendations are provided aligned with indicator limit standards of individual countries.
Based on mainstream global application sectors, procurement priorities are segmented into four buyer categories: premium personal care (hair/body wash/facial cleansers), general daily chemical & household detergent, industrial cleaning & textile auxiliary, and cross-border chemical raw material distributors, with quality control benchmarks aligned to international cosmetic, cleaning and industrial chemical standards.
Core priorities: Ultra-low free amine, low salt, minimal irritation, mild odor, compliant microbial levels and exceptional batch consistency. Safety and skin feel take precedence for premium skincare, infant care and sensitive-skin cleansers with the strictest indicator controls.
1. Active matter content: Strictly match nominal contractual values with ultra-narrow fluctuation tolerances for precise formulation dosing.
2. Free amine content: Critical restricted irritant indicator maintained at extremely low limits.
3. Sodium chloride (salt): Deeply desalinated; high salt concentrations degrade formulation viscosity and create astringent skin feel, requiring tight limits.
4. Color & odor: Pale hue with no rancid oil, pungent or acidified odors.
5. pH value: Stabilized within cosmetic formulation compatible range to sustain overall system pH balance.
6. Microbial indicators: Total aerobic bacteria, mold and yeast counts fully comply with cosmetic raw material hygiene standards.
7. Heavy metals & hazardous residues: Lead, arsenic and other toxic heavy metals below international cosmetic raw material threshold limits.
8. Low/ambient temperature stability: No stratification, turbidity or precipitation following high-low temperature cyclic testing.
9. Irritation potential: Skin irritation test results compliant for sensitive-skin and infant formulations.
Core priorities: Stable indicators, excellent foaming performance, strong solubility and cost-effectiveness for mass production of standard shampoo, body wash, hand soap, dish soap and household cleaners, balancing performance and raw material expenditure.
1. Active matter content: Meet contractual specifications with standard allowable fluctuation ranges.
2. Free amine & sodium chloride: Comply with general cosmetic standards with looser limits than premium care grades.
3. Foaming power & foam retention: Key functional metrics requiring abundant, long-lasting foam to meet cleaning product requirements.
4. pH & physical appearance: Consistent uniform transparent liquid with no significant stratification or sediment.
5. Formulation compatibility: Stable systems when blended with anionic and nonionic surfactants without foam collapse or viscosity loss.
6. Microbial content: Meet domestic cleaning product hygiene specifications.
Core priorities: Qualified active content, stable physicochemical properties, acid-alkali resistance and cost optimization; fundamental performance prioritized for industrial degreasing, textile wetting/leveling and oilfield additives with relaxed odor and irritation requirements.
1. Active matter content: Meet minimum industrial usage thresholds with high tolerance for concentration fluctuations.
2. pH range: Compatible with industrial acid/alkali environments to sustain functional stability under service conditions.
3. Surface tension & wetting power: Core functional metrics ensuring effective cleaning and wetting performance.
4. Viscosity & fluidity: Match industrial pipeline pumping and automated feeding requirements.
5. Inorganic salt & free amine: Loose control limits provided they do not impair basic functionality.
6. Biodegradability: Comply with local environmental emission regulations.
Core priorities: Robust storage stability, leak-proof packaging and universal full compliance documentation for bulk drum/IBC procurement, repackaging and global resale, with primary focus on market circulation, packaging integrity and regulatory compliance.
1. Storage stability: Unaltered color, viscosity and physical properties after transoceanic shipping and cross-temperature warehousing.
2. Hermetic leak resistance: Reliable drum and IBC sealing to prevent leakage during long-distance stacking and multiple transshipments.
3. Routine indicator sampling: Only standard tests for active matter, appearance, odor and pH required to match corresponding grade specifications.
4. Low-temperature tolerance: No full solidification in cold environments, with complete property recovery post-warming.
5. Complete compliance documentation: Universally applicable multilingual SDS, CoA, certificates of origin and standard test reports to pass customs and downstream client audits worldwide.
